Individuals are helped to develop competence in dealing with the multicultural issues they face
in their particular professional situations. This enables them to:
- Communicate more clearly;
- Motivate and encourage more effectively;
- Attain their professional objectives more easily.
One coach works with one individual periodically.
Time may vary according to objectives to be attained.
Questions to ask yourself:
- Are you managing people from a country or countries different from yours?
- Does communication seem more difficult than it used to?
- Do you feel that you are spending more time than you should on interpersonal issues?
- Do you sense tensions in your team that you don’t quite understand?
- Do you feel that you and your team could be working together more effectively than you are?
- Do you feel the need of new or different strategies to help team members reach their potential (and the company’s or unit’s objectives)?
